A trauma-informed approach to therapy

Most of the struggles we face in adult life — anxiety, emotional overwhelm, relationship patterns that keep repeating, a persistent sense of not being enough — don't come from nowhere. They come from pain that was never fully processed. From experiences that left a mark not just in the mind, but in the body.

In my work, I believe that healing begins when the nervous system finally feels safe enough to let go. Not through willpower or insight alone, but through a therapeutic relationship built on trust, consistency, and deep respect for your pace.

Trauma is not always what we think it is. It doesn't have to be a single dramatic event. It can be the absence of emotional attunement in childhood, a relationship that made you feel small, years of chronic stress that left your system exhausted and on high alert. Whatever its shape, trauma lives in the body as much as it lives in the mind — and true healing needs to reach both.

My approach is integrative and trauma-informed. This means I bring together different therapeutic tools depending on what you need and where you are in your process. It also means I never push. Safety and trust are not just values — they are the very foundation of the work we do together.

Trauma-Focused Therapy in Ibiza

Trauma-focused therapy is the core of my practice. It is an integrative process that works simultaneously on three levels — mind, body, and energy — because lasting healing requires all three.

When we only work with the mind, we build awareness and understanding, but the body stays locked in survival mode. When we only work with the body, we release pain but without the mental integration needed to sustain change. When both are combined, something profound becomes possible: not just understanding your trauma, but being freed from it.

Each person's process is unique. Sessions are combined and adapted according to your needs, your history, and your goals. There are no fixed packages — because you are not a fixed formula.

Psychotherapy & EMDR

Psychotherapy is the backbone of the therapeutic process. Together, we explore what drives your emotional dysregulation — the triggers, the survival patterns, the beliefs formed in pain that are no longer serving you. I work from a psychodynamic and humanistic base, integrating CBT and mindfulness according to what feels most useful at each stage.

Within this process, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to work directly with traumatic memories stuck in the nervous system. Through bilateral stimulation, the brain can reprocess frozen experiences — allowing them to integrate and lose their emotional charge.

Emotional Release Therapy

Emotion is energy in motion. When that energy is interrupted, it doesn't disappear — it gets stored in the body as tension, armour, and pain. ERT is a somatic approach that uses circular breathing, sound, movement, and myofascial trigger points to create the conditions for the body to feel, express, and let go.

After each release, we integrate the experience psychologically — understanding its origin and what shifts are now possible. This combination of somatic release and psychological integration is what makes ERT's effects lasting.

LNT — Restoring balance in your energy field

LNT is a quantum energetic healing approach that works at the deepest layer of the process.

 

It dissolves blockages in the energetic body, restoring natural flow and balance. Within the trauma-focused process, it acts as a powerful complement to psychotherapy and ERT — integrating mind, body, and energy into a complete and holistic healing journey.

Energy Healing — A complementary path to balance

Alongside my therapeutic work, I also offer energy healing sessions for those drawn to a more holistic approach to wellbeing. These sessions are available both as a standalone experience and as a complement to the therapeutic process.

 

Reiki works by activating the body's own natural healing capacity. Blockages in our energy field can manifest as physical tension or pain, emotional imbalance, fatigue, or a sense of being unable to move forward. Through Reiki, these blockages are gently loosened and dissolved, restoring flow and bringing a deep sense of peace, balance, and clarity.

When combined with crystal healing — where crystals are placed on their corresponding energy centres — the process is amplified, reinforcing the energetic field and accelerating the release of stagnant energy.

Integrated into every energy healing session, sound healing uses the vibrational frequencies of crystal singing bowls to create a state of deep resonance within the body. These frequencies move through skin, fluid, and bone, bringing the entire system into a state of rest, recalibration, and openness. It is a full-body experience that goes beyond relaxation — it creates the conditions for real renewal.

Every process is different, because every person is different. Before we begin, we spend time understanding your history, your needs, and what you are hoping for. From there, we co-create a therapeutic approach that makes sense for you.

Sessions may combine psychotherapy, EMDR, and Emotional Release Therapy in different proportions depending on where you are and what arises. There are no fixed programmes or rigid timelines. The process is led by your needs, and we move at a pace that always feels safe.

I work with adults navigating trauma, emotional dysregulation, anxiety, relational difficulties, and a sense of being stuck despite previous therapeutic work. I also work with people who have never been to therapy before and are simply ready to begin.

Sessions are available in person in Ibiza and online in a specially adapted format.
